Marina Pugina

Marina Pugina (1992, Perm, Russia) is a curator and researcher. She took part in Supermarket Art Fair in 2018 and 2019 with artist-run spaces from Russia and also took a curatorial internship at Tensta Konsthall with Maria Lind in 2018. Now she is a curator in residence at Björkö Konstnod and an internship curator for Konst I ån (2023).  Based in Stockholm (Sweden).

She graduated in Arts and Humanities from the Perm State University in 2015; studied at ArtPolitika School of Contemporary Art, Perm in 2013; and the School of Art Journalism at PRO ARTE, Saint Petersburg in 2014.

She worked at the Contemporary Art Department of Perm State Art Gallery from 2015-2019 and at the same time she cooperated as a curator with the artist-run space «Dom Gruzchika».  Researcher at Russian Art Archive Network RAAN (2019-2020). Curator of annual self-organized nomadic collective residences at the artist’s summer houses @nedacha (2019-2022). She worked as a writer and editor in online media about contemporary art aroundart.org and krapiva.org till 2022. Laureate of the annual award «Innovation-2017». RRR member.  Group member of researchers in Soviet art.
